Wing Chun Seminar in Linz with Sifu Adrian Tautan

Sifu Adrian Tautan visited us in Linz for the first time

and held a two sessions seminar ( January 5th and 6th, 2011)

for our training group.

The main topic was the Siu Nim Tao and it’s underlying principles.

After showing and explaining the proper execution of the form,

Sifu Adrian guided us on the development of the main attributes

delivered to the practitioner by Siu Nim Tao:

body structure, correct hand techniques and hitting power.

Exercises for focus, sensitivity, flow and conditioning

were part of the ”menu”.

He also took his time to give further indications

on the Chum Kiu and Biu Jee forms

and to correct my execution of the Wooden Dummy form.

Thank you, Sifu Adrian and hope we will be able

to repeat this experience soon!

  1. Hi,
It is so interesting reading your articles on Filipino Martial Arts training especially on your training when you want to take a break due to your chaffing hands. I can relate to the chaffing, since I also practice arnis though I’m just a beginner. But I’m also fascinated with wingchun/jetkunedo-wingchun. Do you know where I can buy a wooden dummy or Mook Jung, here in the Philippines? I want to practice wingchun also on my own. =) thanks so much.
